Our Chrome and Firefox extensions send the URL and capture settings you choose to Allscreenshots for server-side rendering. OAuth tokens or an API key and your organization selection are stored locally in extension storage until you sign out or remove the extension. The extension does not include advertising or analytics code.

Optional session sharing requires your explicit agreement and browser permission. It sends the selected origin's cookies (including login cookies), localStorage, sessionStorage, and observed authentication headers to our rendering service. This can allow access to private account content. Permission for parent hosts allows us to read shared login cookies applicable to the selected URL. Other sites' sessions are not copied. This data is used only to provide the requested capture, not for advertising or sale.

The extension keeps observed authentication headers only in memory. Sharing ends when you navigate, close the tab, revoke permission, sign out, or after five minutes. Site-session data is not persisted in extension storage or pending capture records; the API excludes it from stored request options and bypasses the shared screenshot cache for these captures. Pending job references allow interrupted status checks to resume.

Screenshots, their source URLs, and capture metadata are stored in your Allscreenshots organization according to account retention settings and may be visible to its members. Use the dashboard gallery to delete stored captures. Uninstalling the extension does not delete server-side screenshots. Switch off session sharing for the current site, or use Manage site access in Settings to review and revoke previously approved sites. Signing out clears local credentials and capture references.

If you submit feedback, we receive your comment, optional rating, and account or organization reference. Follow-up contact is optional. A local counter remembers whether you have completed ten captures and seen the feedback invitation; it contains no browsing history or credentials.

The extension's use of information received from browser APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Session-sharing consent is also shown inside the extension before access is enabled.
