These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Allscreenshots ("we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of our website screenshot API service.

By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our service.

Description of service

Allscreenshots provides a website screenshot API that allows you to:

Capture screenshots programmatically

Process sync or async requests

Submit bulk screenshot jobs

Schedule recurring captures

Compose multi-screenshot layouts

Account registration

To use our API, you must create an account and obtain API credentials. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your API keys and credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to bind your organization to these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree to use our service only for lawful purposes. You may not use our service to:

Capture screenshots of websites without authorization where required by law
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
Capture illegal, harmful, or rights-violating content
Engage in web scraping in violation of a website's terms
Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the service
Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
Resell or redistribute the service without consent
Use the service for competitive analysis against us

API usage and rate limits

Your use of the API is subject to the usage limits of your subscription plan:

Requests per minute/hour

Concurrency

Simultaneous request limits

File limits

Maximum size and resolution

Exceeding your plan limits may result in additional charges, throttling, or temporary suspension of service.

Fees and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you agree that:

Non-refundable: All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Price changes: We may change prices with 30 days notice

Auto-renewal: You authorize recurring charges to your payment method

Failed payments: Failed payments may result in service suspension

Intellectual property

Our property

The Allscreenshots service, including its software, design, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our service.

Your content

You retain ownership of any content you create using our service. You grant us a limited license to process your requests and store screenshots as necessary.

Third-party content

Screenshots may contain content owned by third parties. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture and use such content.

Privacy

Service availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may:

Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible

For enterprise customers, specific uptime guarantees may be provided in a separate Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Disclaimer of warranties

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALLSCREENSHOTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Allscreenshots and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

Violate these Terms

Engage in fraudulent activity

Fail to pay fees when due

Abuse the service or users

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
