Fix a request validation error

Use supported options, valid JSON, and the correct capture endpoint.

Start with a minimal request

Send Content-Type: application/json and a JSON object containing a full http:// or https:// URL. Remove optional fields, verify the minimal request, then add options one at a time.

Request example
{
  "url": "https://example.com",
  "format": "png",
  "viewport": { "width": 1440, "height": 900 }
}

Read the field-level message

Timing values such as delay and timeout use milliseconds. Enum values, formats, viewport dimensions, action counts, and full-page limits are validated. A field that works in a dashboard form may have a different API representation; follow the endpoint reference.

URLs and redirects

INVALID_URL concerns the URL format. BLOCKED_URL means the URL or a resolved destination is not permitted, including private-network addresses. Changing timeout or viewport settings does not remove a URL restriction.
