Check availability
Visual testing may require access to be enabled for your organization. If it is not available in the dashboard, check feature settings and contact support with your organization name. Availability is separate from whether ordinary screenshots work.
Create a reproducible comparison
- Configure the suite’s environment and viewport.
- Create a journey with navigation and named screenshot checkpoints.
- Run the suite and review the initial screenshots before approving baselines.
- Compare later results against the appropriate environment and baseline lane.
Interpret the outcome
A completed run is not necessarily a passing comparison. Review unapproved changes, missing or incompatible baselines, and execution failures. Fix changing content, timing, or viewport differences before deciding that a difference is a regression. Successfully stored checkpoints and preview images use capture credits.
