Getting started

Create, replace, or revoke an API key

Find the correct key for an organization and replace a key you can no longer access.

Create and store a key

  1. Select the intended organization in the dashboard.
  2. Open API Keys and create a key with a name that identifies its use, such as staging or production.
  3. Copy the full value when it is displayed and store it in your server or integration secret settings.

Replace a lost or exposed key

You cannot retrieve the original full value from its dashboard identifier. Create a replacement, update the applications that use it, verify a capture, then revoke the old key. If a key was exposed, revoke it promptly and update affected applications.

Keep keys separate from support details

An API key name or short identifier helps us find a request. Do not email the full key, include it in a screenshot, or leave it in a shared curl command. Organization membership and API-key ownership are separate: a key remains tied to its organization.
